Balanced Currents Oil is live and living 🧬⚛️

It’s been living in my heart since last year. Hot summertime fire was churning my inner vision, as i mapped out the concept, sat with what was coming through, and felt into what our bodies and spirits might need for the seasons ahead.

Now as winter peaks, as we slow down to finish cycles and start new ones, as fire horse energy rolls in and all the astrological shifts move all this energy, this has never felt more divinely timed. 🤓🎀

As new cycles emerge, the deep imprints remain: grief, rage, and burnout carried through generations in blood, bone, and memory. Yet the restless tug for for peace and justice keeps asking…

What will we build from this very place?

So, I wanted to create something to help move this stuck, outdated energy that tends to clog up every part of us that wants more for ourselves, our communities and our worlds.

Something to support us in staying present and continuing forward. A tool for tending, returning, and coming back into our most sustainable, harmonious and joyful rhythm again and again as we build the world we want to see.

May Balanced Currents be an essential tool for all you are bringing forth and tending. When everything pulls you apart, this is for pulling yourself back together. <333

Sitting, resting, and DREAMING DEEPLY 💭🙇🏽‍♀️…
And knowing it’s crystallizing as we speak!!

Thoughts i had while filming and creating this..

✴️ Little things mean a lot, joy is a birthright, simple pleasures matter, and you’re deserving of it all and more!!
✴️ A mini mini edit of me just being, playing, and sitting with trinkets and gifts from loved ones — like this jar of saffron and the little, round, checkered mother-of-pearl holder for special things from @tula.designs, and a very potent obsidian spearhead from @precious_ivy__, gifted to me after @jaguarwomb showed me I should be working with it when introducing me to the Cholq’ij calendar, a timekeeping system from the Guatemalan highlands. I also used it to draw the metallic doodles. 🥰
✴️ The light blue greyish crystal/mineral is a potential moonstone chunk I found on the beach last month and the shell, I found on the beach years ago. I try not to take shells like this anymore, though, since they can still be homes for other sea critters hehe
✴️ All of these items are here to create an altar space for the energy I was sitting with and calling in. I actually filmed this on the Lions Gate Portal!!! Hehe
✴️ I’ve been working on a new product for y’all (preorder avail on webbie!!). It’s an infused oil 🥰🌀 Definitely taking my time with it, but I knowwww it will be sooooo well received by all who need it when it’s ready
✴️ Feeling so much gratitude to just play with plants and have the knowledge and fundamentals to back it up 🙂‍↔️🎀🙏🏽
✴️ Feeling grateful for putting effort toward mastery and seeing how it benefits me and my community.
✴️ Feeling loved and EXCITED to keep sharing what Atomea is with y’all, for you to get to know it better, and hopefully have it become a very integral and symbiotic part of your life 🫶🏽🥰🌀🤭

Flipping through this cookbook my sister found years ago—can’t remember if it was from a free local community library, a thrift store, or somewhere else—but it’s so cute. 🌲💚

I checked the publication date, and it’s from the 1970s. Now, I knowww some of the terms used on and in the book are outdated, m1snomers, rooted in c0ln1zation, and not reflective of the vast and diverse lineages they reference.

Still, I’m grateful and alwaysss fascinated to glimpse pieces of what was/is very real life for so many of our rich Indigenous/aboriginal cultures throughout time. ☺️

All of the photos truly make you feel the raw potency of living closely with the land and i love that. 🌀🙂‍↕️

Although its not traditional, id love to try some of these recipes vegan 🥰.

Any Diné or other afro-/indigenous sweeties recognizing symbols, art or practices intertwining here with their upbringing or lineage studies?

I promised y’all a sneak peek, so here it is—just a little whisper of what’s coming… 🤭🙂‍↕️

This washed linen… it’s buttery, it’s breathable.

And it’ll be fully transformed, alchemized if you will—into one of the first limited release collections of our new wearable and functional art tools.

Everything we create at Atomea is made to move with you—across moments, rituals, and seasons. Each piece is designed to be universal, intuitive, and able to be used in ways that stretch beyond what’s “typical.” You’ll feel that freedom when it’s in your hands. ☺️

We sourced this linen locally from a small fabric store in Downtown LA, run by an elder who’s been in the business for almost 40 years. Supporting sustainable, fair-trade, organic, and community-rooted materials is a joy and a responsibility we carry with love.

We’ll share more soon, but for now…

Hey y’all! I’m thrilled to share some reflections and updates I’ve been brewing on lately🌿.

Since March 2020, amidst all the changes, I felt a sense of looming doom, gradually pulling me away from my passions and joys— y’all, I quite literally forget some of the core elements that brought me happiness and purpose in my life. 😭🥲

As a creatress navigating this evolving world, so much of my identity was transforming, and naturally, new visions for myself and my creations evolved alongside me.

Throughout these beautiful, breathtaking, and sometimes heartbreaking waves of existence, one word has consistently sparked a profound resonance within me lately—joy. ❇️

Learning and relearning to fully embody my joy has formed a foundational framework in me that has reshaped how I approach my business and offerings, and bringing with it…a juicy renewed sense of purpose and fulfillment!🤭🥰

Since the birth of this business, two things have always been fundamental to the mission: creating with intentionality & nurturing holistic offerings that celebrate and uplift our rich, ancient aboriginal/indigenous cultures and our inherent connection to nature. 😤

I truly believe in showing up in a way that reflects our values and brings genuine value to you. ♻️

As I pivot towards intentionally crafting products and experiences from a place of joy and for the joy of others, i’m looking forward to the expanding and blossoming of this vision. 🧚🏽‍♀️

Expect exciting changes: more workshops, functional art, limited and seasonal collections. I invite you to explore everything there is to offer.
